How Express Entry Works

 
  1. Express Entry is not an immigration program in itself, it is actually an online system created to manage Canada’s immigration applications intake.

If you want to come to Canada as a skilled immigrant, your first step is to submit your profile to the Express Entry pool.

Work Permit


You can come to Canada to Work through temporary Foreign worker Program. Work Visa has various types:


Post Graduate Work Permit:

  • You can Apply for Post Graduate Work permit after the completion of your studies from Canadian public designated learning insitute. The length of PGWP depends upon the length of your study program. If you study for 1 year, you will get 1 year PGWP and if you stuied for 2 or more years , you will get 3 year PGWP. The PGWP work permit is open work Permit. During PGWP you can work with any and many employer according to your wish.

Open Work Permit:

  • You can apply for Open Work permit if your spouse is international student in Canada and studying full time in Desinated learning Institute. Your children can also apply for study visa or visitor visa .
  • You can apply for Open Work permit If your spouse on work Permit in canada and working as a Skilled worker. In this category also your children can apply for Study or Visitor visa.
  • If your PR application is in process, you can apply for Open work Permit. It’s also called Bridging Open Work Permit.

Closed / Bonded Work Permit:

  • If you have enough experience and Job offer by Canadian employer then you can apply for Closed work Permit with the help of LMIA. Work Permit through LMIA are employer and occupation specific.
  • If your PNP is approved, then also you can apply for work Permit based upon confimation of Provincial Nominee. Usually these Permits are employer and occupation specific.

Holiday Work Visa / International Experience Class

  • You can apply for Holiday Work visa only if you are eligible and your eligibility depnds upon your nationality (which counrty passport holder you are.

NAFTA Work Permit

  • Nafta means – North Ameriocan Free trade agreement. In this category applicants from United state and Mexico can work in Canada in prearranged full time or Part time job for an employer, LMIA is not required.
