PR Applications : You can process your Permanent Residency application from Inside and outside Canada. There are following ways to become a Permanent Resident of Canada:

1. Express Entry: Canada’s Express Entry is the fastest way to immigrate to Canada. Canadian permanent residence applications submitted through the Express Entry system have a standard processing time of 6 months. Express Entry has three types (Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Trade Worker, Canadian Experience Class) to apply for your permanent residency through express entry while meeting the eligibility criteria of experience, education and language.

• Federal Skilled Worker: In this stream, applicants apply for permanent residency with one year of full time work experience or part experience with the equivalent of full time work experience while scoring 67 out of 100 in selection factor. The selection factors are Work Experience, Education , Language , Age Factor, Permanent and Full time Job offer from Canadian Employer, Adaptability.
• Federal Skilled Trade Worker: In this stream, applicants require 2 years of work experience within the time period of the last 5 years in trade (Cook, Carpenter, Electricians, Plumbers, Welder and so on). At least CLB 5 in Language test (General Ielts or CeLPIP) is required.
• Canadian experience Class (CEC): In this stream to qualify applicants must have skilled worker Canadian experience of at least one year.

2. PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) Application: If you are not qualifying in above mentioned categories then you can apply for Permanent residence through Provincial Nominee Program. The PNP application can be through express entry PNP or paper based PNP. After receiving confirmation from PNP you will get 600 points. If you applied for PNP through express entry then the 600 points will automatically be added to your PR application after accepting the nomination. If you applied for a regular PNP then after the confirmation of PNP you have to apply for your federal application. The express entry PNP applications are processed faster as compared to paper based PR applications. PNP can be processed from any province and all the Canadian provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Yukon and Prince Edward Island) have different requirements for their provincial nominee program. You can apply for PNP from outside Canada also with valid job offer from Canadian employer.

3. Caregiver: You can apply for your permanent residency of application through the Caregiver pilot program. In this program the Caregiver provide the care to child, elderly person or to sick person.The caregiver program has two categories :

• Child Caregiver: In this category applicants need one year experience and 1 year post secondary education.
• Home Support Work In this category applicants need 1-2 experience and Nursing education.
• You can be qualifying for this program inside and outside Canada both.

This program will lead you to Permanent residence from Temporary residency after completing the required experience as per program specifications.
