LMIA Applications

LMIA applications are processed by Service Canada. Canadian Employer applied for LMIA’s to hire a Temporary foreign worker because the employer is unable to find the local canadian Worker. LMIA helps to fill the labour shortage Gap. Through LMIA a temporary foreign worker will get the work visa which will be valid from 1 year upto 3 years (according to the length of work permit duration mentioned in the LMIA). LMIA has following Streams:

• Global Talent Stream
• Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program
• Agricultural Stream
• Express Entry (permanent residence)
• Academics, medical doctors, specialists or registered nurses
• High or Low – wage positions

To apply for LMIA Application employer must have the Job Bank Account. To Apply for LMIA from employer side the Business License, Incorporation Certificate, Registration Certificate – as per province requirement , PD7A, Schedule 100, Schedule 125 is required.
